i'm guilty

I’m making a post not to brag about my new DKNY watch and Lacoste bag…I just want you to know that I feel guilty…I’m working to earn money and be able to buy the things that I want…and I buy authentic ones…my motto is “don’t settle for anything less”…*big grin*…I go for branded items…

So why am I feeling guilty if that is my motto? Because I’m buying things that are too expensive…though some of them are bought on sale, still, they are pricey…but who’s to blame? Only me, myself, and I, right? Yeah…for you who don’t know that my parents deprived me of everything during my childhood days, it’s easy to judge me…I don’t get the things that a child wants… not because they can’t afford the things that I wanted…I’m the eldest…my parents are both teachers and it’s just me and my brother for 9years…come 1990, our youngest was born…and did I mention that even my playing time is limited? Yeah…not also because I have to do household chores because since elementary, we have Oscar – our gay helper…I just don’t know why my parents are very protective when it comes to me…they just want me to stay inside the house all day…I’m not blaming my parents for that matter, though…I love them so much…

So there…I’m deprived of the material things that a child wants that’s why now that I’m working and my salary is enough to purchase the things that I fancy, I impulsively buy whatever it is that I want…

Do you think there’s a reason for me to be guilty?

Don't feel guilty about it. Just don't make it habit. Or just make sure that you keep some of what you earn for a rainy day. I totally understand you. When I was younger, I had to do lots of drama for my parents to get me a pair of converse shoes. Now, my youngest sister just gets about everything she wants.
